Your privacy.

Effective October 11, 2026. Setwise is operated by Living Wire LLC. Contact cyrjake@gmail.com about this policy or your data.

Information we process

Setwise processes names, account identifiers and email addresses supplied by your sign-in method; training goals, preferences, schedule, gym and equipment names; workout entries, sets, reps and optional weights; notes and restrictions you choose to provide; and subscription product, transaction and expiration information. Voluntary restrictions or notes may contain health or sensitive information, such as a disability or pregnancy. Avoid including information you do not want used for coaching.

How it is used

We use this information to authenticate you, save and display your workouts, maintain coaching memory, personalize workout suggestions, verify access to paid features and support your account. Preferred workout times and recent start times help schedule local reminders when you permit them. Setwise does not access precise location to identify your gym.

Service providers

Google Firebase provides account authentication and data storage. When you use AI coaching, your coaching memory and relevant workout history are sent to Google’s Gemini service through Vertex AI to generate or update your plan. Apple or Google process authentication when you choose their sign-in options. Apple processes subscription payments; Setwise does not receive your full payment-card information. Google sign-in may use an IP address to estimate a general location for fraud prevention. Firebase also processes technical information such as device, operating system and app versions. Providers also process information under their own applicable terms and policies.

Optional Apple Health sync

When you connect Apple Health, with your permission Setwise reads workout activity, dates, duration, source and available distance. Imported summaries are saved in your signed-in Setwise account using Firebase for History and Metrics across devices. Imported Health summaries are excluded from Gemini coaching. Health data is not sold or used for advertising. Setwise can also write workouts you log, using confirmed duration and logged cardio distance; it does not invent calories, heart rate or routes. Sync identifiers and account-scoped records prevent repeat imports and exports. You can control import and export separately, disconnect on a device in You → Apple Health, or revoke permissions in Health. Disconnecting keeps existing records. Deleting in Setwise or Health only removes the record there; deleted imports are remembered so they do not reappear. Account deletion removes imported summaries and sync records from Setwise, but does not delete workouts from Health.

No advertising or sale of data

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. The app does not include advertising trackers. Operational logs may record errors and service request details to maintain reliability and protect against abuse.

Retention and control

Your profile and workouts are retained while your account exists. Coaching memory is kept until you clear it or delete your account. Clearing coach memory removes the current memory and its revision history. Subscribers can update goals, schedule, and where they train in the Coach tab. From the You tab you can export the most recent workout records loaded in the app, clear coach memory while subscribed, and request account deletion. Account deletion removes your account and its associated Firestore records. Service-provider logs and backups may be retained under their own retention policies. You can contact us for a fuller data request or if you cannot sign in.

Security and processing location

We use authenticated access controls and encrypted connections. Data may be processed in the United States and other locations used by our service providers. No service can guarantee absolute security.

Adults only

Setwise is intended for adults aged 18 and older. It is a fitness planning and logging tool, not a medical or diagnostic service.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
